D. Payment Information

If you subscribe to paid features in the iOS app, Apple processes your payment. RevenueCat helps us verify and manage your subscription status and may process identifiers and purchase information needed for that purpose. We do not receive or store your full credit card information.

4. AI Personalization & Processing

Unsaid uses artificial intelligence to generate responses to your journal entries. Your journal entries may be processed to:

Your entries help your AI better understand your patterns, tone, and preferences.

We do not sell your journal entries. We do not use your private content for advertising. We do not publicly display your entries.

We may use aggregated, anonymized data that cannot reasonably identify you to improve overall system performance and reliability. AI processing occurs using secure infrastructure providers.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. Security measures may include encrypted data transmission, secure cloud infrastructure, access controls, and authentication safeguards.

However, no digital system can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information while your account remains active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.

7. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with Base44 and other cloud infrastructure providers that operate the Service, AI infrastructure providers that generate requested responses, Apple and RevenueCat for subscription processing, analytics providers, and legal authorities if required by law. All service providers are required to maintain appropriate security safeguards.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access your personal data, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, request a copy of your data, or withdraw consent where applicable.

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Unsaid does not sell personal information as defined under CCPA.

10. Children's Privacy

Unsaid is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If discovered, such information will be deleted.

11. International Users

If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

12. Not a HIPAA-Covered Entity

Unsaid is not a healthcare provider and is not a covered entity under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). The Service is not intended for storing protected health information under HIPAA regulations.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will revise the "Last Updated" date when changes are made. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
